A Happy New Year Update!

Aloha Friends,

Happy New Year!! It has been a while since I have given you an update on the Hawaii Whalesong project.

The whales are beginning to show up in Hawaiian waters for the winter. I am really excited to hear my first whales singing and see my first whales of the season!

I have been in the studio the past few months, working with my Maui musician friends, co-creating some really beautiful music with the whales. The album is very near completion and should be available early in the new year. I was really hoping to have it done before Christmas to give as gifts but everything took longer than I anticipated with everything else going on in my life. I am taking a break to spend Christmas with my family on Big Island and will be back on Maui the first of the new year to finish up the album and get out on the water to be with the whales again.

The T-shirts, with the Dolphin David Jimenez painting of a singing whale, turned out real nice! They will be sent out with the CD’s to the Kickstarter Backers as soon as the CD’s are made. The digital downloads will be sent out by email just as soon as the album is ready.
